COLUMBUS, OHIO – SEPT. 24, 2019 – Joan Madison Haute Couture, a custom formal wear and bridal fashion brand, announced today that they were selected to showcase their collection at the 10th Annual Fashion Week Columbus at one of two signature Fashion Week Columbus events: 10th Annual Finale Runway Show on Saturday, October 19 from 6:30pm-10pm at the National Veterans Memorial. Joan Madison, a couturier of bridal and evening gowns, is the owner of Joan's Bridal Couture in Reynoldsburg. A native of Queens, New York, and FIT graduate, Joan honed her craft working for acclaimed fashion houses in the Garment District prior to moving to Columbus, Ohio. The 2018 Emerging Designer Grand Prize Winner, selected by a fashion panel of judges at the Saturday night Fashion Finale, will receive an enhanced prize package worth more than $40,000.
The Emerging Designer Competition began eleven years ago and serves as a platform for undiscovered talent, connecting them with top fashion trendsetters including New York Fashion Week Founder and international fashion consultant, Fern Mallis, and CFDA members and top designers like David Hart, CADET, and Tracy Reese.
